After a decade of learning from Don Bluth and working together on multiple pitches and business ventures, Lavalle accepted the position as Vice President of Don Bluth's new company Don Bluth Studios. In 2017, Lavalle brought the idea of creating a school to Don Bluth, and Don Bluth University was born. The campaign reached $730,000 dollars to produce a 7-minute pitch video. His partnership with Don Bluth began when he championed the Dragon's Lair Indiegogo campaign as lead project manager, editor, voice actor and in-betweener. The website served as inspiration for “The Traditional Animation Show” in which Lavalle was both producer and host. has become the leading website and social media account for all things 2D. After seeing that most animation sites were about all types of animation, not any specific to classical hand drawn animation, Lavalle knew Traditional Animation needed to be represented online. Lavalle is widely known in the animation industry as the creator of the website. He has also personally studied animation and visual effects from Veteran Disney animators in Orlando, FL. In 2009, Lavalle started learning hand drawn animation from Don Bluth in his animation classes, as well as attending his Masterclasses in Arizona. ![]() ![]() If your company works in an industry where you have to comply with different security standards and regulations, the solutions offered by Teramind might be what you're looking for. Teramind will provide you with all the necessary data and proof of work you might need. Once you've identified potential problems, you can figure out solutions on how to increase their productivity and prevent issues before they arise in the first place. With all the monitoring data provided by this online time tracking software at your disposal, you'll get a comprehensive picture of what your employees are doing during work hours. It offers the strictest monitoring features out of all the time tracking apps compared in this list, including live recording of your employees' computer screens, access to their webcams, keystroke logs, and more. Teramind is a powerful employee monitoring tool that will be especially useful if your company works with sensitive documents or data. Additionally, the time tracking information is only visible to the particular user admins or other employees cannot see your data unless you choose to share it with someone else, exporting the time entries. All of the data this time tracking software collects is stored on the user's device – no tracking data is stored in the cloud, and no one else can access it. TimeBro's daily work tracker puts particular emphasis on user privacy. This means you don't have to worry about forgetting to start a time tracker manually – everything happens automatically. The automatic nature of timeBro is a major benefit – similarly to other time recording apps like DeskTime, timeBro launches the moment you turn on your computer. This time tracker software logs your daily activities and separates them into time entries that are displayed in a visual timeline, giving you a quick overview of what you were doing at any given moment. TimeBro is an automatic time tracking tool that records everything you do throughout the day. This in turn ensures that you can accurately bill your clients while maintaining the peace of mind that the human errors in manual time reporting are eliminated. Thankfully, Insightful is able to accomplish this by automatically assigning work to projects to not disturb employees while counting every second that they spend on them, giving you a good estimate of the project’s costs. For example, it’s well known that tracking productivity is difficult and, at the same time, important. For two, it runs in the background and tracks their work or non-work related activities without violating their privacy (for example, with optional, blurred out screenshots).Īnother important part of Insightful is that it can do automatic time allocation as well as budget forecasting. For one, the application makes it super easy to check when employees start work because it’s done automatically based on when they start work. Insightful is a suite of online time and attendance software that puts focus on employee work time tracking and on analyzing their work productivity to find out which are laggards and which are top performers. ![]() This is especially true for its user-friendly, easy-to-navigate web app which can be accessed from anywhere for viewing of your and your current team’s progress. Some of the most stand-out benefits are detailed below. There are several health benefits linked to chromium picolinate supplementation. However, it is always important to follow the dosage recommendations and consult with your doctor before taking on a new supplement regimen. Some studies have suggested that chromium has the potential to generate free radicals in the body, but chromium picolinate is metabolized so quickly (about 1 day) that it minimizes any potentially negative effects over-supplementation may have ( 16, 17, 18).Įvidence shows that the type of chromium used in nutritional supplements (chromium picolinate) is safe at recommended doses, and is most likely safe at higher doses. However, it is important to note that different forms of chromium are metabolized differently, and thus have different effects on human health ( 9, 19).Ĭases of toxicity with chromium found in supplements are most commonly caused by exceeding the recommended daily doses by 3-18 times ( 13, 14).Įven so, lab studies have shown that even at several thousand times the upper limit of consumption, supplementation with trivalent Cr is considered safe and adequate ( 15). Copper or brass: Not all corrosion is bad.The zinc layer eventually wears off, causing the steel below to eventually rust. However, the protection is usually only temporary. The zinc coating protects the steel by preventing water and oxygen from reaching it. Galvanized steel: Galvanized steel consists of carbon steel with a thin layer of zinc on top of it.When aluminum is exposed to water it creates a film of aluminum oxide over the metal that protects the metal beneath it from corrosion. Aluminum, which is an alloy, contains very little iron, which is a key ingredient for producing rust. Aluminum: Aluminum is a popular material of choice for automobiles not only because it’s lightweight but also because it resists corrosion. While the iron in the alloy is susceptible to rust, the chromium creates a protective layer around the metal surface that resists corrosion while preventing oxygen and water from reaching the iron underneath it. Stainless steel: Stainless steel is an alloy of elements that include mainly iron and at least 18 percent chromium. One way of preventing your grills, siding, fencing, and gates from rusting is to select products that use metals that are corrosion-proof. For example, iron easily loses electrons to oxygen when both come into contact with water, creating rust. Corrosive MetalsĬorrosive metals are those that easily lose electrons combined with an element that absorbs them. While rust is destructive, weakening and ultimately destroying the metal, the green patina that forms on copper serves as a shield that protects the metal underneath it from the elements. Though the reactions are similar, the effects on the metal are quite different. In fact, it’s the copper content that’s in sterling silver that causes it to tarnish and in brass that causes it to turn green. Like iron, copper also reacts to water and air, causing a chemical reaction that forms a green patina on the outside of the metal. Rust occurs when iron reacts with oxygen in the air and water to create a compound called iron oxide. Technically copper can corrode, but that process does not harm the metal. You can read about the test here.Since iron is a key ingredient for rust, only metals that contain iron such as cast iron and steel are corrosive.
